Apesar de ser um programa gráfico merece ser citado pois ele consegue modificar o tamanho de partições de disco sem destrui-las

É um software comparável ao partition magic mas com algumas diferenças:

O partition magic é pago
O partition magic não tem código aberto
O gparted tem uma versão em live Cd que permite de cara dar um boot e sair modificando as partições
